We are committed to environmentally responsible practices in product design, manufacturing, testing, and recycling processes.
As part of the certification requirements, we must maintain high environmental standards, ensure proper disposal of solid waste, and make sure it complies with all required standards.
We have obtained supervision reports and tests related to wastewater, gas emissions, and noise from approved laboratories and are subject to inspections by environmental enforcement authorities as well as TÜV Rheinland.

In November 2009, we obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification for our Environmental Management System.

Brascabos constantly reinforces the importance of ecological values to all of our collaborators by organizing events such as lectures and participative activities.
We do not discharge large amounts of solid waste in the production of electrical cables and harnesses, and a substantial amount of all waste is recycled.
The water used for cooling some of our processes does not contain any harmful substances and is reused instead of being discarded.
Our environmentally hazardous material stores, as well as our soluble oil tank, are equipped with containment devices to avoid causing any damage to the environment in case of a spill.

Since the start of our business, we have complied with all environmental protection laws and regulations in Brazil and have obtained all necessary approvals and licenses.
In addition, we are following national and local laws and environmental regulations, and in the last three years we have not violated any law or regulation and have not been subject to any sanctions.
Aware of its responsibility to the Environment and to the society it is part of, Brascabos has as guidelines for its activities: the prevention of pollution, the compliance with the applicable environmental legislations and the continuous improvement of its processes, besides the minimization of the environmental impacts.

We maintain an environmental management system monitoring the environmental aspects and impacts that may be caused by our activities, acting preventively to avoid any damage to the environment.
